My 12 Most Worn Items This Winter
My go-to, ride-or-die wardrobe staples for winter 2024/25...
Hi! Happy Friday!
So this week, a lovely friend (and paid subscriber) suggested I share my most-worn/favourite pieces for winter. She wanted to know the things I literally live in and wear all the time. I guess this means the items I rely the most heavily on. It was actually a really interesting exercise, as it made me realise, for example, that there is currently only one pairs of jeans (keep reading…) that I’m reaching for, and the same few pairs of shoes/boots. Of course, these are not the only things I’m wearing, but I am definitely someone who wears the same things over and over, for years and years and years. Obviously with newness added in as I go. I was also surprised at how many of my go-tos are still available to buy. So I have linked them on the images.
I have also realised that because I live in London, where winters can be cold, wet, muddy and slushy, this of course, effects my wardrobe choices (in less obvious ways then you might think), such as pavement-grazing flared jeans, or long pale-coloured dresses... So my daily ‘uniform’ remains pretty tight. Anyway, I wonder how many ride-or-die pieces we share? As always, let me know in the comments.
Super-warm and cosy. Chic, obviously. Navy: tick. I love the oversized (long enough to wear with leggings/skinnier jeans and boots) fit and the neck that always sits ‘just so’.
Not gonna lie, they’re not the most comfortable (I can only wear thin socks with them, as they’re quite narrow for my feet), but I LOVE how they look. Perfect heel height, love the high-shine leather, slim fit around the ankle, and they look great with everything - dresses, jeans, skirts. I just wouldn’t wear them on a day when I’ll be smashing my 10k steps around London that’s all.
